Where
Another once-in-a-lifetime experience on this trip is that you will be staying at the world's northernmost ski resort. Riksgransen lies in the extreme wilderness of Swedish Lapland, 200km into the Arctic Circle. On the border between Sweden and Norway, 100km north of Kiruna, this little known ski resort makes its mark. The drive from Kiruna to Riksgransen may be a little long but the beauty of the surrounding area is enough to keep you entertained.
Accommodation
Riksgransen offers a variety of accommodation from classic hotel rooms and self catering apartments to the luxurious ski lodge. Most accommodation has been recently renovated and has all mod cons including television and en suite bathrooms. The fantastic hotel is also home to one of the world's most northerly spas.
